Helpful Packing and Storing Tips:

Packing your storage space:

• Place pallets or 2x4's on the floor (tip to be used on ground floor, non-climate/humidity controlled space)
• Leave a walkway to the rear of the Storage Unit.
• Place frequently retrieved items near the front.
• Place your most valuable items in the rear of the storage unit.
• Use the height of your storage unit to maximize the space.

Storing your furniture:

• Apply a heavy coat of furniture polish before storing wood items
• Cover with fabric or plastic drop cloths (tip to be used on ground floor, non-climate/humidity controlled space)
• Store couches and long furniture items on end to save space.

Boxes

• Completely fill all boxes.
• Pack heavy items in book or medium size boxes.
• Seal all boxes with professional packing tape.
• Label boxes clearly and keep an inventory list of the contents
